Even more frequently. Out of 7 tries so far to join a game, I managed to join 1. I'm losing connection (supposedly) to battlenet and I cant even rejoin. Do you use gproxy too? I did a lot of research on this issue and discovered that this is a very common symptom but the root causes are very different. For me it turned out that the Fog Click Detector (Anti-MH Tool I use for GH) was not working with Win10, so once I got rid of it the game works perfectly fine.
It was the Fog Click Detector which was trying to read out of bounds memory. You brightness will not change is not an issue.

I have the same situation and I aware why I have it, for you it could be due to a different cause but for me it is because I am overriding WC3 GFX settings with custom settings in the nVidia Driver to make the game look better. When you do this the game loses control of certain settings which includes Gamma (Brightness) calibration. Having an unstable internet connection or a high risk of lagging out?
