Aha, well it would be complex to make another version of LCPDFR on a whole new game. Its like starting over from the beginning with small details about modding. But yeah, it would be nice to have it on GTA V. This topic had been already asked, and seems like a 'no' that it might not be out for GTAV.:( I no it would be hard but, you have got a bit of a head start if its the same RAGE engine, so can you not convert stuff from IV to V? Ps: just imagine roming round the streets of LS (LA) aresting drug dealers and muggers (good times LOL). They will most likely continue to support LCPD:FR for GTAIV, but I don't think we have the manpower to properly develop and test both, so I'd imagine after a test run of a GTA V mod that G17 would probably stick with that.
I can only speculate though. Also while I know we couldn't possibly port every single bit of LCPD:FR over, I'm sure the C# scripts are more than salvageable. Well if gta V even comes out for computer, thats the problem. I would believe that since in the video that was released from rockstar and all the new objects in it, ( dogs, cars, ets ) that the lcpdfr would have to be rebuilt C ompletely because it would be a pain trying to recode everything. Also it would probly be unlikely for G17 to stop making lcpdfr for gta iv just because its a great game. But till the game actually comes out and is disected to see if thats all possible, no one can really cant say anything. Edited January 21, 2012 by JACK.
