Jun 30, 2016 Visualizations are colors, shapes, and patterns that move to the music in Windows Media Player Now Playing mode. How can the answer be improved? My Dell Dimension 8100 desktop computer runs Windows ME (Millenium Edition) and on its Windows Media Player I have the blissfully beautiful and peaceful visualization.

Here is awesome news for all of you who would love to have Ambience, Particle, Plenoptic or even Spikes visualisation on your Windows 8, 7, Vista or even XP (unstable, but works ok). I decided to pull the guts out of WMP and hack it because I wanted Ambience back on WMP12. By mixing up files from WMP7 and WMP8 and changing them a bit I did it. I made Ambience, Plenoptic, Particle, Spikes, Bars and Waves and even Musical Colors fully functional on WMP12!

This will be the part of my WMP12 Nostalgia Pack (unfortunately bad consequences on WMP11) which features these old visualisations and ALL old skins you got on XP RTM or even SP1 and on Windows Me (ex. Atomic, Bluesky, Radio, Canvas, Windows XP, Toothy.) I will provide it free for download and make an installer to make the process WAY more easier. Don't worry, it's not a virus, it's totally legit.:D The song is the original Popcorn from 1969, bad choice huh? But at least WMG or similar crap won't sue me for copyright:P Now, I had tested this on WMP11 on Windows XP SP3 and unfortunately WMP crashes when trying to open Settings with the Ambience pack loaded. You need to unregister the DLL to access the Settings, and then after changing the wanted settings re-register the DLL.

This weirdly does not happen with the Musical Colors pack installed. Only use this on WMP11 if you are an advanced user! Subscribe, like, comment!

My Dell Dimension 8100 desktop computer runs Windows ME (Millenium Edition) and on its Windows Media Player I have the blissfully beautiful and peaceful visualization ' Ambience: Random'. On my Toshiba Satellite laptop computer, running Windows Vista Basic, I do not have ' Ambience: Random' - as far as I can see. Is there any way in which I can get ' Ambience: Random' onto my Vista Basic laptop Windows Media Player, please? I so love, ' Ambience: Random' and it is the only visualization to which I can effectivelyrelax and meditate; so it's really important to me to have it on my laptop.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Shuffle Tick Tack Game. I have it on my Windows Media Player on my Dell Desktop computer running Windows ME (Millenium Edition ).
